In 1960, the Hotel Tahiti was the first Tahitian resort whose design was inspired by Polynesian culture, built on the very estate where Princess Takau Pomare made her home a century before.

Situated on a natural, turquoise-blue lagoon, The Sheraton Hotel Tahiti offers 190 guest rooms and 10 suites, all of which have views of the lagoon. Of the 190 guest rooms, 49 are Lagoon view rooms, 96 are Superior lagoon view rooms and 45 are Deluxe lagoon view rooms. The rooms also have views overlooking the luxuriant gardens of the hotel or the Pacific Ocean with the island of Moorea rising in the near distance. The suites offer 8 one-bedroom suites or 2 two-bedroom suites. |
